The little pink flowers have just about had it now, will have to move to another spot. :)

Lovely shots George. Really like the one with the droplet of water.

Incidentally, do you use backgrounds like shown in the last image in all of your macros? Very interesting idea. How do you find positioning them or do you have a number of them dotted about in places where you know subjects are likely to land?

Thanks for the comment Ian.

Incidentally, do you use backgrounds like shown in the last image in all of your macros?

No Ian, just on that little patch of pink flowers, if it has little pink flowers then it probably has a bg. LOL It's either that or a cluttered or black bg which I'm not too keen on. In the past I've used a large leaf as a bg, castor oil plant if I remember, huge leaves on those.

How do you find positioning them or do you have a number of them dotted about in places where you know subjects are likely to land?

I know exactly where they will land Ian, my bugs all have their tongues hanging out! LOL

Gorgeous! Well done. My favorite is the one with the water drop on his eye.

Very impressive shots, very nice light. Could you describe your flash rig, or post a reference?

Very pretty pics and I am really liking your backgrounds. I think the above poster - Ian - might have been referring to where and how you place the backgrounds. Do you just wedge them up behind the plant or do you use a stand or clips?
