Waiting until you catch a hawk flying into the wind to get an IF image......Ian, that's just cheating! :)
He is a gorgeous gray raptor though isn't he, and your capture doesn't really show any overt signs of the wind. The Kingbird, however, has that windblown appearance based on his crest. He too is one of my favorites of the flycatcher persuasion.

Ha, you're right, Steve the wind helped hold him up in a few spots so I could catch up with him. He really stood out aganst the green fields and trees, so the AF was also able to catch up quicker.

Beautiful shot of the 'Harrier' Ian! I've only seen one around here & that was a few years back. Kingbird is great too!!
