Here is a quick set from a football game that I covered today. First football game covered in about 10 months. The game was between two local city teams (Portland, Me). Portland is Maine's biggest city with a population of about 70,000, which is still pretty small compared to most places. Both of these teams are among the best teams in the state, and pretty much none of these kids will be playing Div I or II football.

It was really hot (for here in Maine). 90's and very high humidity. It would go from sunny, to cloudy, so excuse that my white balance is all over the place.

I've noticed that my shooting and abilities have been pretty stagnant the past while, so I'm really trying to push myself to do better. CC definitely welcome and any further tips and pointers welcome.

Most everything shot with a 400 2.8 and either the 1D4 or a 5d3.

Great set. I wished we played daytime in TN. All are strong but I like #3 the best.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

Definitely am spoiled that I get to cover some day football! Most of the games I cover are still Fridays under the lights, but there are a couple schools that don't have lights on their fields, so they play on Saturdays.

Ha! Everyone seems to love Maine in the summer, but nobody says the same about the Winters... :-)
