These ones are dowitchers (as pointed out by JTF), but still a type of sandpiper

The first two shot's I am leaning towards Dowitchers due the white band above the eye.

Interesting study of flocking shorebirds Trevor.
My favorite, as you might know, is the backlit image. The light through the wings is a beautiful highlight for the rest of the underexposed body.

Great captures, Trevor. It's amazing there aren't some mid-air collisions, isn't it?
