Hey all. i have been trying to come up with an option for a monohead/strobe that will be more powerful than my speedlights. speedlights just arent bright enough for use in midday sun and i find myself shooting in these conditions on occasion....(frequently) I currently use YN-622C triggers with my speedlights and i love the fact that i can control the power levels from my camera. my question, is if there is an option on the market that will allow be to have the said control butsi significantly more power and still be portable. There were a couple options that i came across in my reading but i dont remember the exact models. I know one was the godox/neewer/cheetah 360. just not sure i can use my current triggers with it and then there was a monohead that had a built in power supply

thoughts and suggestions on monohead/strobe and powersupply setup... i have roughly $800 to spend

There is suppose to be a YN strobe that will support ettl with the 622 triggers coming out on the market in October?

the godox/cheetah solution has it's own post here in the forums, but aren't compatible with the 622's

found another one that may be of use to you:

have to dig around and see what you find in the threads.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
