An uncommon sight in British Columbia

Wow - what a surprise to see this uncommon (for the lower mainland of BC)bird!

Then he decided to "relocate"

He appears to have been hanging around for a few days at least. Other photographers said that sometimes he's in more photogenic locations. Sure was a nice surprise to see my first green heron. I hope he hangs around as an adult too!
