I'm a sucker for getting older, cheaper cameras and having lots of them with lenses attached when I'm out and about, or driving through swamps and hiking through them. In my book for what I do, I often will employ an older APS-C with newer good lenses. I'm considering an old 1DII, because they're just so inexpensive. The 8MP doesn't bother me since a lot of what I'm shooting day to day isn't ending up printed in large scale, so I'm not worried about resolution as much. More concerned with the image quality and look.
So I'm curious if anyone has a 1DII and any modern or newer APS-C's and share glass, and had a moment to share any decent wildlife shots to compare that old 1DII sensor to a modern APS-C sensor.
