Take away the exif or manually switch the 50art to read Canon 50 1.2 and watch people praise the 50art thinking its the canon 6D; canon 85mm 1.8, Tamron 24-70mm VC, Canon 135L Canon 70-200L is ii

I didn't see any negative posts about the bokeh yet and not in lens reviews either It's definitely higher quality glass then your purple 85 1.8 with dull colours and no contrast which i'll sell this weekend haha ![]() He's talking about the 50 arts sample thread in the lens sample forum (its the sub forum of this one). Simple to find, just go to the sample forum, search "50" then find the 50 art thread in the results.

Take away the exif or manually switch the 50art to read Canon 50 1.2 and watch people praise the 50art thinking its the canon I'd bet you could take pictures with a 40 2.8 and tell people it was a 50L and more than half the people would believe you if the EXIF said 50L. Might just have to say it was stepped down. But no doubts you could pass a 1.4 as 1.2. Might even be able to convince people the 1.8 was a 1.2.

No 50mm will help you. 5Diii | 50D | 8-15L 4| 16-35L 2.8 II| 24-70L 2.8 II | 70-200L 2.8 IS II |Tamy 150-600 | Σ35Art 1.4 | 40 2.8 | Σ50Art 1.4 | 85L 1.2 II | 100 2.8 Macro | Helios 44-3 58mm f2.0 |Helios 40-1 85mm f1.5 | 1.4x & 2x teleconverters

Eddie is correct. This is just a matter of opinion. One man's nervous bokeh is another man's perfect blur. It doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. What's popular today might be frowned upon tomorrow. You don't have to let anyone affect your opinion. Your opinion is yours alone.
