Very nice photo. I'm just learning how difficult it is to get a good capture of the sun.

Very nice Peter . Did you use the Baadar Filter ? One thing for everyones safety when you post an image of the sun Please make sure you Post the Filter your using so that someone new to solar imaging doesn't just go out and take a camera with len or a scope and point it at the sun and look at it or take a picture . Safety can never be expressed enough when imaging the sun and us as amateur astronomers we need to be very responsible for Safety first so that admirers will not loose eye sight over misunderstanding about solar observing and imaging .

Other than that your image is nice , what I would do is try changing the color to a yellowish/brown color or leave it as taken with a Baadar filter which is white .

Yes baader filter home made.
I used an action I found and toned it down a lot. Typically you get a white/greyish image of the sun Dan.
Baader film is available on ebay or your local astronomy store
