This is a bird species I have been working on getting decent shots of for years! We see a decent amount of them in Florida each summer, before they migrate back to South America, but often times they are hundreds of feet in the air, and within seconds can seemingly fly a mile from you. I was thrilled at the opportunity find some (100-200 of them,) as well as a few a bit more on my level. I hope you guys enjoy.

Very neat shots Jason.....any idea what they were after? My only shots of one of these is like you said, a couple of hundred feet above me.

When you watch them, they are doing one of two things, they are either drinking and their head skims the water almost the entire time, or they are taking a bath, where they drag their back half in the water the entire time.
