I just cannot believe that the 7D2 is so close to the 7D in everything, one would have thought it would have shown some sort of improvement in 5 years.

I'm thinking about the point of the internal battery
I hope they make it like the 5D2 battery , easy to replace

Why replace it? It is a lithium rechargeable, chances are it would outlast your desire to own the camera, and the next 2 owners after you. Pop a good battery in, and it will charge that onboard battery.

The smaller pixel size needed to get the higher pixel count, makes the noise more garish IMO.

If you are being serious, which I cannot tell, since my post you replied to was tongue in cheek, then I don't understand where you are coming from. The noise characteristics on the 7D2 are some of the most film-like (along with the 70D) that has ever been seen on an APS-C body to date. It rivals, if not exceeds, that found on the 5D, which everyone loves.

You cannot love the 5D noise performance and poo poo the 7D2's. That would be the definition of insanity.

If you were kidding, then carry on... :)

I have used the 7D and the T4i for macro shots
the T4i shots is very very sharp with a macro flash and I didn't like it
I like some noise in the backgrounds from the 7D
sharpness in not everything that I need all the time
in your kitchen there is some sharp knifes and some soft
the sharp knifes for cutting meat , and the soft for fruits

I use sharp knives for fruit? Otherwise I would end up with fruit puree. I use dull knives for butter.

So I would use dull cameras for ebay sales pictures (butter) and sharp cameras for art (meat/fruit).

Uhhh.... That's not how it works.

A dull knife is a surefire way to injuries.

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

I use sharp knives for everything, its kinda pointless to have a knife if it isnt sharp.
