Cowboy studio
yongnuo
neewer

Most popular ones I see.

I used the paul c buff ones for a bit and they were pretty solid but I need something cheaper atm.

Will be triggering a Rovelight 600 and a 430exII from a Canon 6D

thanks for help.

Cheapest wins but I want to make sure they work more than 50% of the time

YN 603c are the best budget triggers I've tried- had no reliability issues with mine.

You would need one on the camera and one for each flash. Id spend the extra on the YN, if you decide later to add more lights you can count on finding the YN's either new or used.

Yeah I will look into it.

I may see if I can find 3x used and be set for a while.

the ones above Can be used as both I'm assuming?

So one goes camera side others are attached to strobe/flash

The YN 603 is a transceiver system, meaning each unit can work as either a transmitter ( on the camera) or as a receiver ( attached to the flash.)

Awesome
I guess I should also add that I will be working outside So I could crank the Fstop down but I would like to be able to control shutter speed

that isn't gonna happen much with these cheap ones huh?

I think the rovelight 600s come with built in wireless of some sort O.o

I've got both (the cowboy studio version of the cheaper ones, and the YN-603), and I'd go 603 (ii) all the way. They are much better built (metal shoe mounts!), and work with the YN-TX and YN-560iii if you ever go that route. Not only are they tranceivers, but they can do both at the same time- you can use them to wirelessly trigger your camera and flashes (with the right cable, and the right amount of units).

The Neewer/CS remotes work ok, certainly well enough for casual use (I used them for over a year), but I'd still 100% recommend the YN-603ii.

No, those are fire only units. If you want more control consider the YN622c ETTL capable triggers. Im not sure what you mean by controlling the shutter speeds via flash triggers.

Not control shutter speed with them but be able to crank the shutter speed up if I need to but some of these have a point to where they won't fire fast enough?

most cheap ones are like 250/320 shutter speed

That's a limitation of your camera. The triggers might also run into limits at some point point but the 1/250 is the max synch speed of your camera. If you mean the ability to use HSS that would require ETTL triggers and capable flashes.
