so many great posts on this thread, love them all, spent the whole day with my 5DIII and actually missed my 7DII today, it seems a much more fun camera to use, least in my opinion anyway :-D

These two are definitely out of focus, not the 7DII's fault (the Sigma 50 just isnt a fast focusing lens) but it somehow made for a some good looking pictures regardless

Wonderful as always Jeff.

But you know he has the same look in his eye as my cats do if I wave a piece of chicken at them. Hmmm, have I stumbled on the critter magnet identity!

hi well my experienc of their service so far so good julie as i sent them an original 100 - 400 mk 1 a few years ago now that had a focussing issue and internal moud that i had bought second hand ( like a fool ) and they repaired it ok but at a cost and it worked well on return and so i am hopeful they have fixed the 7dmk 11 focus issues and as the camera has been around now for awhile hopefully the canon techs have had some experience with it by now

so we shall see how it pans out over the next week or three - only taken a couple of shots with it so far and it looks ok but time will tell and i intend to give it a real workout side by side with my very good 600 D and my good 100-400 mk1 and compare the 7dmk11 with the 100-400 mk 11 with it shot by shot and hopefully it comes out on top - will also shoot it with a few of my other lenses just to be sure and i also have that good 70 - 200 f4 IS in my dry cabinet

loved those dog agility shots julie - yu have a talent - i know they are not easy to nail

cheers and best rob

Hope it works out well Rob, I'll keep an eye open for positive posts with luck.

Amazing stuff all...

after not being happy with my camera I have been in the 7dm2 focus issue thread.. and posting up... and a world if things came out of it.

Factory reset, installed FW 1.1.0, went back to center AF point and I'm back on track. Whistle not the best I'm happier...

I think this is one of your Top5 Fox shots ever.
Fantastic in many ways, especially in taming what appears to be golden light.
