Great shot!

How far away were you and about what crop is this? I am trying to get my 150-600 dialed in just right, and you have the same combo I do :)

Thanks in advance for any info you can share

probably somewhere in the 15 to 20 feet/ 5 metres maybe, I was in my car on the side of the road and it was on the other side just off the road. only about 25 to 30% has been cropped out

Thank you ma'am! I appreciate the info. I think my setup is about right then. I am trying to learn the DOF with this setup, and the same lens on my new camera too. Crazy thin at shorter distances...

One of my favourite crops but I have lots of bird ones with the 100-400 II. This is from about a 25 burst sequence with my 55-250 STM (which is my light travel zoom). Sitting in an outdoor cafe having a cold beer in old Geneva. That chopper was fast. I had to listen for it and move quickly as it came over the square as you could not see it until it came over the buildings.

Lol well, Thank's... There is a lot next door lol.. Living in this country all my life gave me an edge on finding wild life around here. Yesterday a new fox followed the deer trail into my back yard. Hope something comes of that.
