Im going there next year and struggling to make up my mind what to take, I would love to take my full frame but replacement of that if damaged is too much also its heavy. I kind of wonder if I should take 7DII a 15-85 lens and perhaps my 70-200F4. Either that or get a small kit for travel, any ideas FUJI XT5 + XT3 & a bunch of Fuji lenses, Mavic Air2 drone

It was better then the original in many ways although I just wasn't sure if it was enough better so I sent it back. I will probably revisit this lens this spring when there is good light. The closeup shots ( up to 10 meters seemed consistently sharp but I found quite a variation on the more distant shots. Some of the reviews show a good deal of chromatic aberration which could affect sharpness. In the end, I liked the lens but I wasn't sure I liked it enough to dump my G1. It could have been me or possibly the copy of the lens that I had. 7D Mark II 6D 100mm f 2.8 macro 180mm f 3.5 macro, MP-E-65 300mm f 2.8 500mm f4 Tokina 10-17mm fisheye 10-22mm 17-55mm 24-105mm 70-300mm 70-200 f 2.8 Mk II 100-400mm Mk II 1.4 TCIII 2X TCIII 580EX II 430 EX II MT 24 EX Sigma 150-600

If it is a family vacation, I would definitely take smaller gear. Even today's phone cameras take great pics. What do you want to achieve on this trip? Canon R5 and R7, assorted Canon lenses, Sony RX100, Pentax Spotmatic F

I met a nature photographer who was selling prints of birds. I asked him if he had any turkey vulture pictures and he looked at me like I was an escaped ax murderer. "I don't photograph those things!" I was irritated and sad at the same time. I love turkey vultures and I'm so glad somebody else appreciates their worth in nature.

I kind of wonder if I should take 7DII a 15-85 lens and perhaps my 70-200F4. Either that or get a small kit for travel, any ideas That was why I was contemplating one being a 1 body owner. 80% of my photography is from travel. We went to Costa Rica for a month last year I brought it all because we had a home base for a month but I still used my 7D2 and 100-400 most of the time. When I travel light it is my 7D2 and 55-250 STM and FF and 24-70 II. Typically I use the FF most of the time for those trips but I can't leave the crop behind. It came in handy but I have to admit just carrying it in the backpack felt heavy last time around and it will not get easier at my age. It is tough to decide what to do. We are going to Hong Kong and Shanghai next year and I'm contemplating renting a WA lens. I wish they made a pancake WA but I guess physics won't allow that yet. On the Schilthorn in Switzerland Lugano Switzerland Those STM lenses are sharp. I hard a tough time deciding on Black Friday. Rome from the same trip and my 5D3 and 24-70 Image Editing OK

I used it about 3 times. It takes great shots but I just can't get used to it. Gotta have a DSLR in my hands. It has been sitting in the pouch for 5 years. I have been contemplating checking it out lately. Image Editing OK
