It all depends on your goals. If it is a family vacation, I would definitely take smaller gear. Even today's phone cameras take great pics. What do you want to achieve on this trip?

combination of both, travelling with Niece who has lived and run a business there so knows the country and culture plus a sister. But do want to take some nice images showing the land and culture/people

leaning toward taking the full frame and two lenses

That was why I was contemplating one being a 1 body owner. 80% of my photography is from travel. We went to Costa Rica for a month last year I brought it all because we had a home base for a month but I still used my 7D2 and 100-400 most of the time. When I travel light it is my 7D2 and 55-250 STM and FF and 24-70 II. Typically I use the FF most of the time for those trips but I can't leave the crop behind. It came in handy but I have to admit just carrying it in the backpack felt heavy last time around and it will not get easier at my age. It is tough to decide what to do. We are going to Hong Kong and Shanghai next year and I'm contemplating renting a WA lens. I wish they made a pancake WA but I guess physics won't allow that yet.

Somewhere in Switzerland with 7D2 and 55-250 :-)

That is from a 5 shot burst sequence so I got some interesting ones as it shakes the water off. Amazing little lens.

Hello, I have a 7D MK2 and I am having a little problem. I shoot a lot of Bald Eagles and I am getting a halo around the wing tips the most of the time. I have included a photo to show what I am seeing. I would appreciate your help. Thank you

I definitely see what you are talking about,.. Most pronounced on the top of the wing. Are you shooting raw or jpeg and what processing are you doing and with what.??

It looks like you maybe reduced the exposure and highlights and this may have caused the problem.

Love the processing on the Black and White ones

I reprocessed the last set of luna.. I felt they ended up a hair too dark on reflection..
