Great work on the little flyers and the big flyers.

I used Lightroom and the CA tool to remove the fringe with no luck on the raw file. It said there was no fringe on the file. I did some you tube videos and one said that his was from sharping to much in the camera. I was using sharping with the setting very high. I redid all my settings to low sharping ad I will be out tomorrow, Friday is the weather allows and I will see what happens. I thank you for all your work in this with my. When I let you know the results.

Here are a couple from last weekend. I hope they look ok. I have to use a laptop for photo editing and it's hard to tell how they look.

Don't get in that slump.

I had my gear stolen and i had whole 3years without doing any wildlife. Now I'm getting back into the genre and couldn't be happier. I try to remember the felling of getting that great shot of a subject that does it own thing on its own time. A great portraiture shot has its own rewards, but a great wildlife shot is tons more gratifying.

That's my driving force anyway.

Got the Fast Start tutorial by John Greengo that totals 5 plus hours. This guy helped me tons with my first DSLR, my 60D. Got it on sale! (ends tonight) and saved $15. (normally $49)

I like that Greengo dude. I find his photography a bit dry, but he is outstanding at explaining the technical aspects of photography.

After the first time with my 60D I said it would be a standard practice with future cameras.

I can read a manual until the cows come home and not learn what his power point presentations can teach me in one viewing. You've heard a picture is worth a thousand words. He has lots of pictures so it's worth millions of words. I'm a very visual and "hands on" learner.
He goes through all the menus and settings.

You can watch them as many times as you like and download them.

This one has a PDF booklet for taking notes beside illustrations. The full menu structure is on one page. He puts his choices on one and has one for your settings.

For me it's a great value. Helps get the most out of a camera.

Agreed. If your original is sharp and steady, it can be cropped quite a bit and still look good. I have been doing that lately, if I can find one really sharp one in a group, the sharpest one, it can take some cropping.
