I used Lightroom and the CA tool to remove the fringe with no luck on the raw file. It said there was no fringe on the file. I did some you tube videos and one said that his was from sharping to much in the camera. I was using sharping with the setting very high. I redid all my settings to low sharping ad I will be out tomorrow, Friday is the weather allows and I will see what happens. I thank you for all your work in this with my. When I let you know the results.

Joe,
If you were processing the Raw file in Lightroom, the. The in camera sharpening had no effect on the result, the standard LR sharpen default will be used for the LR 7dii profile. If you had processing in the Canon tools, it would have used the in camera setting as the starting point. If you want more analysis, I suggest you post the raw file online, and the post a link for us to download it. I am unsure what you meant by LR didn't find any CA. I use the eyedrop to select on the CA to then have it removed.

Big crop. The 7DII is underrated in this department

Yes, 7dii can crop, typically with the caveat of using a tripod or high SS with still subject.

Oh, here it is.... dont judge!
First BIF photo, borrowed lens, first time using it. Looking to hone my skills. I think i will be getting the Sigma 150-600mm soon.

I think this is a Red-Tailed Hawk. If someone knows it is something other than this please let me know.

Thanks
