Stunning!

KurtB wrote in post #18266184 (external link)
My first reaction was "great picture".

Until I read...

840mm @ 1/125, HANDHELD

Then my thoughts turned to...

This guy must have some incredible technique (or the ability to not breathe, stop his heart, and turn into a stone pillar). I sometimes have a hard enough time hand holding 200mm @ 1/125 outdoors on a 7dmkII, let alone 840mm.

Really well done, and a reminder that I need to work on my technique even more.

Thanks guys.

Finally got the W-E1 wi-fi adapter. Played around with it for 5 minutes and it works great. Anyone else got one?

I've got one. Same as you, I've only played around with it for a few minutes so far.

Telling me how good the IS has become on the new lenses is going to make my wife hate you all.

Honey...I think I need to upgrade and buy a new lens or two...

We all travel in similar boats
But this is true stabilization on Canon 100-400mark 1 was non existant compared to Sigma sports ,
do not know about Mark II though.

Hi Mark, would be interested in what settings you use as I find Nik dfine2 cleans up the noise but destroys too much fine detail when I use it compared to using the Lightroom NR sliders.

A coupla bodies and a few lenses
