Beautiful shot as usual.
Even at the posted resolution you can zoom in and see your reflection in her eyes. You appear to be down on one knee like you you are proposing. A ring of bacon maybe? Sorry, had to throw some silly comment in there.

I haven't taken a picture in months. It's either snowing and windy or just cold. Last Saturday it was -44 C. This morning it is -38 C. Almost dead calm and sunny both days. Oh well, only a couple of months of winter left now.

Don't get me wrong. I like the cold and I love all the textures etc. in the snow (no flies is a bonus) but looking for wildlife is a pointless exercise. Unlikely to see much besides gray jays and ravens. Not even many ptarmigan around yet this year. Too much ground to cover on foot and I'm trying to cut back on my driving so...

Back to your picture: cropped this close it reminds me of one of those eye make-up commercials you see on TV. "Foxy Lady" to coin a phrase.

I don't think we've had more snow than usual so far but our "snow season" is usually March and April. So far I think the biggest single snowfall this winter was 41cm or about 16 inches. Time will tell.

Looks like someone is enjoying a day of shovelling at your place. I get to practice at least a couple of times a month.

Well, you have the close encounter thingie down. ;)

On a happy note: 80 degrees here today... bright sunshine. We went up to St Augustine to see if the birds were there yet... only a handful. A couple Great White Egrets and around 20 Spoonbills. It was ummmmm quiet. Usually, it's so noisy there, with a nest on almost every branch.
