Thanks for the comments guys. My wife thinks I'm nuts for sitting on a river bank in the middle of winter looking for that quintessential "fishing" shot. I know here I am in the company of like minded "nut jobs"!

lol is your snow deep this year.. we are very deep.. The deer are being picked off by the wolves with the hard pack and the deer can't stay on top.. Not good, found one yesterday down the road a bit

Temperature down here today was 81 degrees fahrenheit today. I had to mow three pieces of property yesterday.

Might be a hot summer this year.

Very little wildlife activity here in the midwest at the moment.

I took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather today to do some hiking. Just found some ferns and fungi to photograph but the hike was enjoyable!
