I know this is just a way of life out there but how ridiculous, Not only does he have a very high risk of crashing but also killing that young child at the front.
Another point look how they are all dressed maybe they do not realise how quickly asphalt will do away with the skin down to the bone.
Great Shot by the way.

You've ever seen 2wheelers in traffic in India? Whose families on scooters and motorcycles? Insanity.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Finally got time to get my pedal boat (fitted with trolling motor) to the little lake nearby and head on up to the beaver pond to try for some wood duck with the new camera. Last year I saw a couple beaver several times. When I landed the boat to slip up to the beaver pond on foot I thought I was seeing another beaver until it went under exposing it's longer tapered tail. The fishing club had mentioned that they were trying to rid the lake of otter that was getting the fish but this was the first positive sighting that I had made. I was eager to get to the beaver pond before it got too light but I didn't want to miss my first otter. The daylight was just starting to break to my back so I knew it would be a lighting challenge. I wasn't seeing it resurface in front of me where I saw it go under so I began to broaden my search. The rascal had gone past my boat and when I looked toward the sun rise I spotted it raised partially out of the water on a fallen tree checking me out. I'll never forget the sight and thankfully can share it with you. It is far from an ideal image but I really do like it.

Then it gave me a profile shot. My old 60D could have never focused this well in such low light. You can see a pretty sharp focus on it's whiskers. Wow!

Any way I made it to the beaver pond in time to see the woodies fly out. But I thought they hadn't seen me so I took advantage of their absence to remove a couple obstructions of a clear shot. I find that in wild outdoors seldom do you get a clear shot around a beaver pond. So I settled in for the wait. It wasn't that long until I saw them fly back into the beaver pond from the lake. A few minutes later I got glimpses of them among the trees making their way along the natural canal toward me. It was funny to watch them tilting their heads at an angle to look up in the trees above. Finally they got into my clear view as I used the silent 5fps to save my first series that I can remember getting clear focus on the red eye of the drake. Something about that red eye in good light would blur every time with the 60D. I think that I got one good wood duck image with it.

Ive always felt that full frame is the BEST if you can be close enough for wildlife but lately Im starting to wonder if its more about the lens
A friend disagrees and says that most good photographers when it comes to animals will be using full frame. any thoughts on this? Maybe I need a better lens to get as good photos

In my opinion it is absolutely about good glass. I'm probably going to get blasted for this but my 7D II holds its own against my 1Dx in most situations. There's about a $5000 difference in price between the two. 5 grand buys a lot of good glass.

Great story's Joe, I have had many a time out in the wilds of my home lands.. Its great that you got to experience the wonders of the Otter. Their almost magical is the way they can move through the water and I've never met one that didn't check me out before moving on. My image is a Pine marten from around home in Ontario Canada. He is just an average size Pine Marten.

I think in all but the darkest of light your right Magoosmc. 7DII can be outstanding.

Its up and down for me with mine, I can get amazing shots in the right light, the main thing I like the full frame for is the dreamy DOF shots, for wildlife unless Im really close the 7DII wins hands down

Nice shots.

Only commenting because of the reference to the otter and the fish club. The most common similar statement here is the loons are eating all the fish.

Lets see: the loons have been coming here for maybe 5000 years. There were lots of fish here 60 years ago when people arrived. Do the math.

Makes one wonder why people see themselves as the most intelligent species on the planet.
