Here the fishermen want to cull the seals, because they eat the fish. :(

My image is a Pine marten from around home in Ontario Canada. He is just an average size Pine Marten.

Technically, it is the American Marten, since the Pine Marten is the Eurasian species, but everyone calls it the Pine Marten for some reason.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Nice shots.

Only commenting because of the reference to the otter and the fish club. The most common similar statement here is the loons are eating all the fish.

Lets see: the loons have been coming here for maybe 5000 years. There were lots of fish here 60 years ago when people arrived. Do the math.

Makes one wonder why people see themselves as the most intelligent species on the planet.

Rod

Agree
I sent the club organizer the wood duck images but kept the otter to myself.

I think in all but the darkest of light your right Magoosmc. 7DII can be outstanding.

I agree. I have a 5D4 now and am not convinced of its superiority over the 7Dii. Except at high ISO but I am finding its AF inferior to the 7Dii and am having trouble tracking BIF with it where the 7Dii does this with ease. FF is indeed great and I am a huge fan, I have a 6D and use it for wildlife and non wildlife photos where its DOF, high ISO capability and general IQ and color rendering are awesome. The 7Dii is my rock for wildlife photos and it does most other things very well too. I am very fond of it. Looking forward to version 3, sign me up.
