Just got a burst of about 15 with good focus so I'm happy with the 7D2 performance ~

Two more from today at the Alligator Farm. The rookery is still roaring along.

Love the activity on this thread. It dawned on me this past few days that I am the only photographer in my city (pop. 34000) and area that does wildlife action shots. Definitely a niche style in my area - and I am getting better known as a result.

But it also occurs to me that this particular thread here on planet earth comprises several of what I certainly judge to be very high caliber action shots by high caliber photographers using the 7D2. I love that we all share action shots because hey - there is a learning curve to be tackled learning the 7D2 and coupling it with a worthy lens. I see it as a privilege to be posting along side such great talent and peers.

That said, a few snaps from today.

My mom's favourite flower.
This combo with the 70-200 II sometimes can really give the impression of having a FF body.

Will, nice shots, agree that 7D mark ii is a steep learning curve, it seems you are right on track !!

Queen bee in flight, Well i am guessing she was the queen bee as she was surrounded by loads of smaller bees.
