I had to look that up using google maps. That is pretty far south for that much snow. We have a few friends that head down to Pharr, Texas for the winter. I'll have to email them and see of they got any as they head down before the first snowflake hits the ground up here. I bet it wasn't warm for them when that came through. I like to give them the gears. :-)

Meanwhile in Denver, it's been 62 days since the last snowfall. The record is 69, and the only question is how much we will break that record by. Last year in Dec, I was shooting at this location when it was -19F, yesterday, I was in a t-shirt.

You get close enough to the critters you probably could give up the Canon. I'll give you the shipping address. :-P

Well I got tired of dusting my classic camera collection regularly so with the boom in demand for old lenses for micro four thirds, I've been selling the lenses off. Bet I get stuck with all the bodies and still end up dusting! :-) I'm surprised at the money they are fetching. I got $160 each on ebay for two canon 50mm 1.4 FD that cost me less than 20 bucks each in car boot sales. They took some refurbishing though. This is just half the collection.

Sold it but with a Domiplan lens. :-)

OT but: When I was REALLY keen on landscapes (and younger) I took on the Cornish coastal walk backpacking of 630miles carrying 3 zenit bodies and their lenses to save changing.........we live and learn :-)...............I've carried a lot on my back as an ex serviceman but that nearly killed me! :-)

Nothing wrong with the phones, they work surprisingly well.

I downloaded an app to let me tweak some exposure compensation but it is very course.

I hear ya Lester.. Lighroomclassic has the phones profiles and works well. plug the phone into the iMac with lightning cable and import just like a card or camera. I save my pics off the phone just like that.. as a Library of their own. some of the family stuff super great IQ is not required.
