Shot a football game this past weekend in not so great lighting. I, also, didn't have a great night as it was one of those games where it seemed I was always on the wrong side or wrong corner of the endzone for the plays that were run.

All photos were imported into DPP 4, converted to TIFFs, and then imported into LR5 for processing. A couple of photos. Disclaimer: Just an amateur with not long enough glass.

First photo: ISO 6400, 1/1000, F/2.8 with a Canon 70-200 F/2.8 IS version 1 lens.

I went to the an MMA event last Friday and got some great shots. I haven't figured out DPP yet so I've just been converting to TIFF and then opening in ACR to make minor adjustments, then opening in PS and saving as JPEG as I don't have nearly the editing power that I do with RAW. Below, is a link to an album I posted on my FB page at 10 FPS of a knock out punch. I'm thoroughly impressed with AF system and ISO capabilities. All images were shot in manual at 1/1000, f/2.8, ISO 1600 with the 7D II and 16-35 f/2.8 II.

I'm sure it is, we have the filter set pretty aggressively.

When I used to work it was the same thing.

Just new to the forum so i might as well post some pictures of today.

These are made with 7d2 + Tamron 70-200 VC.
Tracking works really well with this combination.
Auto ISO, shutter min 1/1000 sec
The egyptian geese really put up a show today at the park, finally getting the hang of this AF system now

Welcome! Like the water splashing frozen in the first shot. What are those two birds doing in the second one? They look like they are pretending to be eagles swooping in to grab something with their... "talons".

Believe it or not, they are coming in for a landing. And none too graceful either.

Well they are actually attacking two others just standing in the water...
Probably it was their turn to use that spot of water...
