We were in British Columbia specifically to photograph grizzlies but weren’t having much luck on the river. When we came in for supper there were reports of a mama grizzly and three cubs on the camp road. Our guide and I grabbed our cameras and went for a walk down the trail. We didn’t see anything on the way out, but we did think we heard something in the bush. Giving up, we were making our way back to camp and this huge mother grizzly comes out of the trees right in front of us ! :eek:
Choosing photography over running for my life, I managed some shots and then the three little ones came out behind her ! It was getting dark so maybe not the greatest, but I can say that it’s an experience I will never forget ! I’m at work until tonight but I will post some shots of the cubs when I get home.

that would scare the bejesus outa me. They always say Aussie has too many scary critters but nothing like these that can just appear out of the bushes on a walk and chase you down
