Perhaps not the greatest photo, but it really shows the low light capability of this camera.

Little penguin at my feet, the only light was a distant street light. I could barely see it. The camera actually took focus and got a shot!

well I went out with good intentions, sat around waiting for the super blood moon and eclipse, after an hour gave up due to cloud, Most disappointing. Dropped around to my sisters then as I was leaving saw the moon. Had the full frame camera etc and a landscape setup which is what Id planned, tried to get a good shot but all crap. came home dragged out the 7DII and a birding lens and shot this handheld at ISO 16000. Guess I should be glad I got anything

My son and I spent a couple of hours at Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove, Oregon on Sunday. It was pretty warm and for a change, dry.

All shots handheld, with the 500/4 Ver 2 and a 1.4X III converter.

Saw 42 species including 6 raptor species (no good photos of them, unfortunately).

Here are some good ones though:

Golden-crowned Sparrow:

And we saw this muskrat snacking on the grass shoots.

Four dolphins jumping at the same time at a distance. I had burst mode on so I could capture nice action. I combined 3 images since each frame looked almost like one dolphin cloned.

I really wish I had PS skills like yours. I wouldn't know where to begin to achieve a collage like this.

Canon 7D2 · 16-35 f/4L IS · 17-55 f/2.8 IS · 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM · 50 f/1.8 · 100 f/2.8 Macro · 100-400L IS II
Picture editing is OK. CC always welcome.

Thanks for the kind words. Since the dolphins were far off, I had a lot of "empty" space. I just copied and pasted the 4 dolphins at different stages of the jump onto one of the images. It was strange seeing all 4 jumping at once as if trained!

My lunar eclipse contribution. Timing would have had the eclipsed moon setting behind the snow capped mtns just a few minutes prior to sunrise, but clouds did not cooperate, so this was from totality phase approx an hour before sunrise.
