Not the best, but I just discovered this family in my back yard. Looks to be mom and three kits.

Very envious of all the fox and snow images, but Ive got these  You can just see the joey. Took these roadside through car window, they can sometimes be skittish if you get out

This was the view from my mothers place the other day, late afternoon and thats not fog, its smoke from people burning off. Smoke can be annoying but makes a great moody photo :-)

QUOTED IMAGE

That is a very cool looking image. I like the moodiness that the smoke creates. I thought it was fog until you explained.

Cool lizard Lester, did it get the ant? I only ever seen one lizard in this country and I had a 10-20 on the camera so no close ups unfortunately.

I think the ant escaped.

Sometimes there can be so many of these lizards you have to be careful not to tread on them. Seems to be very few this year however, possibly because the number of insects has dropped alarmingly over the last few years.

Couple more shots. A better shot of the little yellow bird (large crop) which I have been told is a yellow warbler and a grouse walking on the walking trail.

The first shot has already been posted here on page 1288 but posting again for comparison. They are not shot from the same position due to foliage now being in the way.

Sadly he was easily scared off and that was the best photo i could manage of him, but i know where he likes to hang out and plan to try again another day, getting the focus on him through the grass was a pain
