Nice work!

As a river fisherman I see these little flashes of bright blue occasionally. Great capture of a beautiful bird.

Thanks dinny. That's the first time one has sat long enough in front of me long enough to get some shots off. Love the silent (quiet) shutter setting for this scenario. Just wish the sun had of been out or it had of been a lot brighter.

I wish my darn iPad didn't think the PDF was protected and would open it. It is only locked for editing not opening, but the iPad is too dumb to figure that out.

Hi Keyan, I am only on page 70 so don't know if you have opened it yet, if not, where you selected to open in iBooks, in Safari, jut to the right of this is a choice to "open in..." select this and choose open in Adobe reader, it will open in Adobe reader and will also put an "OK" copy in iBooks.
Hope this helps.

I'm thinking of buying a 7D MKII from Best Buy because they have a good return policy. No restocking fee and return period is extended to Jan 15 for the holidays. I would save tax by purchasing online from B&H or Adorama but with all of the AF issues, I want a local retailer in case I have to exchange cameras. I don't want to deal with shipping back and forth.

Ok I read through the manual and I must be missing it. How do I set up for back button focusing?

Go to the third page of the orange menus
Select Custom Controls
Remove AF from the shutter
Add AF to the AF-On button

I think it's the Tamron 150-600 that's the hard to find one. And as far as the sigma goes, it has some focus issues that need to be worked out. For instance wen you fully zoom out sometimes it won't pick up focus, just keeps hunting, also focus when you do lol on is inconsistent. Non of these happen with my canon lenses. Plus I've read from a couple others in here that their sigma lens were not working right on it. Think it's a sigma issue, might have to be recalibrated through sigma to work.

Good to know.

"All of the AF issues" - two or three users out of many. Having that available can be nice though.

Captured this one today. Got some other angles of it that I need to process.
Seems like my second Mark II might be fine!

I've never seen this before, lol...

Yes. Although, I wonder if I should link it , incase some people don't want to see that.... hehe..

I saw it grab something and start running, outta the corner of my eye. So I started tracking it and realized what was going on. It was below freezing out, and half the pond was iced over. Maybe the frog was found dead.
