Flickr/Smugmug changing policies

When owned by yahoo as a free subscription you had 1TB, now owned by Smugmug it's now limiting to only 1000 images, anything over 1K will be deleted

Annual fee for Pro now is $50 get 30% off first year.

*Free members with more than 1,000 photos or videos uploaded to Flickr have until Tuesday, January 8, 2019, to upgrade to Pro or download content over the limit. After January 8, 2019, members over the limit will no longer be able to upload new photos to Flickr. After February 5, 2019, free accounts that contain over 1,000 photos or videos will have content actively deleted -- starting from oldest to newest date uploaded -- to meet the new limit.

wow I did have around 1500 on flickr but a while ago deleted around 1300 due to my lack of using flickr as much these days. I now do not post on there as much. Sad how flickr is slowly dying in my opinion anyway. I started using it in 2006 back when there was a thriving community of groups but today it seems dead

I also have a second flickr account mainly just for storing photos , people will just create more accounts if they need to

lol ... so cool... You made the right choice. For sports I think you have the killer setup right there. The R is amazing me very time I pick it up..

I'm really happy for you getting this new monster. I too am buying tickets... As a matter of fact I have two I need to check lol

Congrats on the RRRRRRRRRR, you know it's suppose to have the same sensor as the 5DIV, that may be one of the reasons you find it amazing. What else do you like about the R......... Do tell :-)

Managed to catch my Paper Wasp earlier in the morning, perhaps a little sleepy, so I was able to use the joystick to quickly place the Spot AF point on the eye, wing socket and waist to grab 3 quick shots in succession, hoping they could be Aligned in PS CC.

Using the "Edit-Auto Align" and "Edit- Auto Blend" Functions produced an image with a greater combined depth of focus, although I had to manually blend in the area behind the eyes as somehow, a section from a softer frame was chosen by PS CC.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Mike, I was a little disappointed with the wasp in that it did not point the one OOF antenna parallel to the camera sensor.;-)a

Cheers

Dennis

I see what you're saying Dennis. That's really tragic. I'll bet you must feel sick to your stomach over it. :-P  ;-)a
