Yes, I have the 400DOII myself, but as much as people say it is just as good with the 1.4TC as it is bare, that simply isn't so. It is véry good with the 1.4tc, which is welded to my 400DOII, but now and then I take the 1.4TC off, and seeing the images then realise that I should not buy other bodies, instead save and save some more for the 500mm f4II. The 400DOII is fantastic for portability and fast AF, with superb IQ, but when I see images from the 500mm f4II, I know that I will sooner or later have to add one for the really special shots, because 400mm bare is too short.

I have a brand new one 7D Mk II, still in its box. Unused.
I still don’t know why I bought it, going to hand it down to my eldest daughter. She likes photography.
