Just unloaded the camera. A shot from November 10. Not seeing much in terms of wildlife. Shot was cropped some and resized. Shutter speed was not fast enough to compensate for movement caused by wind so didn't salvage a lot of shots from that day. Now to go find out what type of bird it is.

Nice shot. They are Cedar Waxwings.

Wow, that guy is puffed up! Nice shot!

I'm going to disagree with greenjeans, though, and say they're Bohemian waxwings- white bars on the wings, more black on the throat, Rufus under tail, and overall grayer lower body.

Brian, I'm sure that you are right about the Waxwings. I just googled Cedar and they looked similar.

Thanks. I've looked up both names now and see differences but still wouldn't be able to give an ID with any certainty.

Bohemian Waxwings for me too, brown underside of the tail feathers, shorter stocky body.

That is fantastic.
She looks like a real bundle of mischief.

Technically I would have cropped out a bit on each side rather than the blur, but that's just me.

Thanks! It doesn't seem to be on the usa.canon website yet, but Australia has it. EDIT: Nope, can't find it there either.

Seems like a firmware update of marginal utility.
