I've got a problem ! a good problem ! sorting through the 100's of keepers I get with this newly purchased camera, I remember I had a similar problem shooting with the 1D MKIII. The AF on this camera is amazing even using a crappy Tamron 18-400 lens. ߘ:love:

Goldfinch having a sleep :-) .Not a great photo, not bad considering I was shooting through my kitchen windows. I’m pleased with the performance of my newly acquired 7DM2, the Tamron 18-400 isn’t doing a bad job. I’m thinking Canon 100-400 MKII !

Any post processing advice would be appreciated, I shot this raw and processed in LR Classic latest version. As usual the The default sharpening was set to 40 so I’ve reduced by default to 20. To be honest the jpg’s look better. Back in my early canon days I always used DPP I’d rather process in LR as I’ve got a sort of catalogue system.

Fantastic camera, just got fed up with lugging all the gear around. I had the Tamron 18-400 that I used with the Fuji and Fringer which didn’t sell so I couldn’t resist buying a second hand 7DM2, I found a high shutter count cheap one for a really good price so I went for it. I just can’t help myself sometimes  have our paths crossed?

Reminds me of the CCR song "I heard it through the grape vine" (of course conveniently ignoring the facts). :-)

My PP attempts have not worked out to put it mildly but it's only a hobby for me so.....
