I have the Spyder LensCal, I haven't used it to MA my lens yet though, my 500 is pretty good both bare and with my 1.4x, but looking at how sharp your pics are I really need to make the effort.

Deff worthwhile, My 500 with and without the 1.4 looked good but I was surprised just how far out it was esp with the 1.4, Now it is sharp as a tack both at 500 and 700mm.:)
