Been a while since I posted. Been few birds around and the mass of migratory birds didn't show up this year and mostly I just don't remember to post. Anyway the best title I could come up with for this picture is

WHAT!

A tiny bird, warbler I think. Every time I zoomed in he'd move so I had to zoom out to find him. That means this is a large crop and resizing was not necessary.

Covering an equine event today. Reds came in to land at the local airport (Cobham put them up when they're displaying along the coast)

The closest I've ever had a loon swim by. He was about 50 feet away and seemed to be wondering what I was. As usual the resizing did some damage to the sharpness.

Last one for this round. Unfortunately I was not able to get a sharp shot while he was closer. Shutter speed a bit on the low side for me and BIF. Oh well.

All recent shots with the Tamron 150-600 G2

Just picked myself up a 7D mk ii - practically unused from London Camera Exchange for £599. I know it's pretty old these days, but it's the camera I really wanted when I got my 70D (just before the 7D2 came on the market). Took it out yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it - noticeably quicker in focusing than the 70D. Very happy with it. Here are a few of my first shots with it.

I got mine from LCE a few months ago for the same price, had less than 3k shots on it. You are not far way from me btw, I live in New Milton ... lived in Portsmouth many years ago (Tangiers Rd)

Love the Pelican.

Anyway, few shots from me taken yesterday with the Sigma 150-600mm Sport
