I think I was using a mix of Expanded Center Point and Zone AF for these guys.

Very nice indeed. After looking at hundreds of BIF images they mostly start to look alike no matter how well they are executed. However, this one is is different, and very special. Great shot

Pensive Peregrine. I was so grateful to see these amazing birds in their natural habitat.

Great shot! At 300 mm, were you pretty close or big crop?

Not too many cooperative subjects this morning at Killens Pond but I managed a few.

1) Promontory Warbler

2)

3) Chipping Sparrow

A few pics of a fox. He was sitting when I first spotted him. Rushed to get a picture before he ran away like they always do but he just lay down for a nap. The first shot was taken around 1:45pm. I left and when I passed that way again about 90 minutes later he was still there. He had moved about 20 feet. You can tell he was excited to see me. Yawn..

Hiking through Redden State Forest and came across this White-eyed Vireo hopping through the bushes and making a lot of noise. He seemed to be less scared of me and more cautiously curious as to what I was doing while photographing him.

That last image is great burnet44. Like the played caught leaping in the air as referee makes the call.
