Depends a lot on the terrain (in the case of this shot there is a bit of a steep slope down towards the track and it's dirt so a little slippery). Also a little crowded. But typically, feet well apart, and angled perpendicular to the point of the anticipated "best shot". Does that make sense? Is that what you were asking ? I have read that it's best to actually have one foot slightly ahead of the other, and I think that's probably a good technique (makes for a slightly more stable stance), not sure but I may be doing that a bit. I should be more conscious of my exact stance, I know.

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Managed to find one of the herds of Chincoteague Ponies, that the area is famous for, grazing on the marsh grasses.

Just traded my Canon 7D & 1D Mark III for the canon 7D Mark II. Looking forward to getting it out in the woods for some photos.

Just broke out my 7DII to take some photos of some good friends kids playing flag football. Shot it alongside the R6 with both a EF 70-200 II f4 and the EF 70-300 II NanoUSM. The 7D holds up really well in those daylight photos.

I've managed to grab a Fringer Pro II for Fuji, going to be doing some testing with a X-T4 tomorrow. Depending on results, I could well be saying good bye to the 7D2 (will be kept in the bag as a backup)
