Early morning possum in the tomato plants.
ISO 16000 doesn't look bad.

Looks great for 16000 ISO, Jack! In the right hands, even the crop sensors do just fine.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

That's a fine looking Possum.

Be sure and put out some more nourishing food other than the fried green tomatoes; there is absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever in tomatoes.

When the chickens get started eating tomatoes, they will quit laying and get poor as snakes and eventually starve themselves to death ....., all while eating plenty of tomatoes.

It seemed to only eat the ripe ones. Only green ones were left. It seems to be eating well enough :-)

Went for a quick run next to the local ski hill. Seems they have some 'tame' foxes hanging around. Both shots only resized for posting. At first sight they got too close to fit in the frame at 150mm. Guess they were expecting food.

A couple more shots. An eagle this time. Cropped and resized for posting. He would not look at me. He had been spooked by a helicopter and landed in a tree unusually close. Maybe under 100 yards. I took a few shots then started walking toward him. He had had enough when I had walked about 100 feet so he left and went to his usual perch about 400 yards away. No good head shots in flight.

A couple of shots from a few days ago. Soon waterfowl will be a faint memory. The same bird in both shots. Minor cropping and resizing.
