Very nice! I don't know much about birds but this one looks like it could do some damage if it wanted to.;)

Same here. They are probably just putting the last screws into mine now at the factory. They are saying a couple of weeks.

Wow! That $10K lens is awesome!

Indeed, but it's the teleconverter that really kicks butt.

I have the lens - works fine - had the combo at a family birthday party on the weekend.

I bought the lens in the summer to use on my c100 when Sigma updated the firmware (in the summer) to work with the c100's dual pixel autofocus. It also works on the 7D for video when I quickly recorded some video at the party - the autofocus worked. I have not spent any time after this looking deeper into the 7Ds video autofocus settings so don't hold be to anything more than the pictures were good and it worked out of the box at the default video settings for autofocus.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I'll be getting my Sigma 18-35 today hopefully and got my 7DM2 delivered yesterday. I'll have to get reused to canons layout after shooting with a D810 the last few months. It's a little shorter than the D810, which fit like a glove in my hand while the M2 is a little shorter but I'll get used to it.
