I think the ones from flickr look better. don't know if that is just in the photos themselves or the import process.

You really need to check the same image for both methods to know for sure.

I agree dp. I just did the same with one of mine and see that I am getting a larger photo size from the forum than from Photobucket. It also appears that PB may be stripping EXIF info.

Yeah, the ones hosted by this site definitely seem to have come across as larger, and IMHO look better.
DP is right though that you'd have to bring the same photo over by both methods to know for sure.
When adding the exif data, the ones hosted here were able to populate most fields from the photo, but I had to manually enter the data for the two from Flicker.
So far I like the new system here, though I have had a few glitches and pages not loading etc, but with a completely new programme there are bound to be teething problems.

Did some AFMA this past weekend, looks like I am getting it tuned in.

I really like the composition and look of the second shot.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

I once tested PB against Flicker at POTN and the were identical. I have yet to try the upload feature but I like that it has been added. Look's like I'll have to make a small donation but I hope Pekka does not sell this site too soon after I do and he is driving around in his new Lamborghini ;-)a

I've seen many posts about 7d MkII focus issues but my camera has exhibited no such problems. Here's a macro shot from yesterday. It was mad in dim room light with a 100mm 2.8 macro. I think it is quite sharp.

I used the single point with the four point assist. My experience, so far, is that the single point spot is very precise but the single point without the spot is not so good. The assisted single points (both 4 point and 8 point) are also very good and the wide area set-ups are quite good but the full 65 point wide area seems, at least to me so far, unreliable. The key to this camera seems to be selecting the correct AF for each situation. With my 50D, I always used the back button focus and disabled the shutter button half press. I have my 7D MkII set up the same way but am considering that, when using the wide area focusing, it may be better to enable the shutter button.

I really like this camera but it does take more "active thought" than my 50D does. That's not bad - just a leaning curve.

Enjoy the photograph. It is Christmas. My wife has several nativity scenes, some quite small, sitting around our house and I always enjoy watching the light play on them.

I was told if you upload to flirkr at the target size it should keep the EXIF info, it is when it has o resize it looses it.

I can't vouch for this though as I use my own server to host images.

Exactly the issue I had. Mine was returned to Best Buy and I purchased (and am waiting for) a new one from another vendor. I'd be interested to hear what Canon says about this.
