Another big + to the second one TerminalCity.
Guss your spoonbills are perfect, and as a p.s. are you getting any use out of your
new monopod/tilt head?

Thanks all. I intend to go back on a more bleak day, I think it's an area that would work well for some B&W long exposures.

Thanks Robert. And big yes on the monopod/tilt head combo, have it with me all the time and many of my recent shots were captured when using it. Am loving it as are my arms and shoulders :-)

I did a wedding with my 5D3 and the 7D2 yesterday. Used a 70-200 II, Sigma 35 Art and Sigma 50 Art on the 7D2. Outside, the camera worked very well. Photos are sharp and look really good. I don't think I could tell the difference between these two cameras. Inside, the 7D2 consistently picked a very different WB than my 5D3. 5D was far more correct. I shoot RAW, so no big deal, but it's a bit strange.
I have no hesitation bringing the 7D2 to a silmilar shoot again!

Lars

Edit: One other thing. The 7D2 seem to expose 1/3 to a half stop brighter than the 5D3. 7D2 has the more correct exposure.

I don't think I posted these. The Hawk just would not come from behind the branches, but this shows how the AF can get around them.

I was out with the 7DII and the 5DIII this weekend and found that the 5DIII consistantly underexposes, it was even more pointed given that with the 7DII I can also use EC even with Auto ISO engaged in manual mode. I really missed this when switching to the 5DIII.

Cheers
Gus

Yep, with the 5D3, it's automatically set to about 2/3 overexposure.

Georgetown ..in South America. We're way below sea level, and have got huge seawalls to keep the ocean back. Was able to climb down at low tide to get low on the concrete without getting too muddy :)
