Overall the 7dII did a great job in a dimly lit gym. I did use the anti-flicker feature and found the WB was very consistent throughout. I did make some adjustments to a few pics with WB in post on a pic by pic basis instead of a batch process, will re-edit when I have time so they're all the same. Noise is still a bit of an issue indoors when I am used to using my 6d for these shots but the amount of keepers vs. the 6d is great. Somewhat due to just more frames being recorded and some due to the better AF system and more points to choose from. ![]() ![]() ![]() This young man is one of my oldest son's best friends and a great kid, hard worker and an incredible wrestler. I had a terrible time getting a good pic of him because in his 2 matches that night he wrestled a total of about 45 seconds. He got his 200th win on the pin that occurred immediately following this roll. He will wrestle next year at the University of Iowa. ![]() This last shot happened so fast and I only had a narrow window in the crowd/team to shoot it and I didn't get the focus on the wrestler but I think having the crowd in focus is actually more telling of the story. https://flic.kr/p/qcHwpk Some nice shots there. On the last shot was the Focus on the athlete because the sharpest focus is well behind him. Was that intentional or missed focus by the camera?

It's a great sport--on your own and no 'huddle' to help you when the rubber meets the road! flickr

As I stated in the original post, it happened really fast and I only had a narrow window to shoot through. Woild have liked the focus on the wrestler but I'm overall pleased with he outcome with the focus on the crowd as supporting Jeren. 6D & 7D mark II - Canon 16-35 f/4 IS L, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L, Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II L, Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II, Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM, Canon 85 f/1.8, Canon 100 f/2.8 USM macro, Canon EF 1.4x III
