I'm still shaking my head. Anyway, after 5 months of rain/snow/sleet/ice fog we decided to take a break and drove to the coast for a day of sunshine. The grey overcast skies followed me but for a moment I got to shoot against blue. A big thanks to PhotoHunter---I made it to the art gallery but it was 20 min's to 9p.m. Why was I so late? Because I stood beside a tripod from sunup for 6 hours, got back to the room for a nap and woke up at 8  Wanted to say thanks in person- Father and Son by MedicineMan4040, on Flickr

The 7D2 has half the photosite read noise of the 7D in quantity, and it is better in quality as well, with less clusters - like a finer grain film. It also has much less salt-and-pepper outlier pixels. There is a lot less banding noise, as well.
