Will wait, but if some members here have it already, then go out under rain if there is rain and shoot without cover and let's see the real world test.

Welp. I did it. My patience got the best of me. It seems I would be on the late list to get mine from B&H (pre ordered about mid October) and I have not seen anyone stating that they've received any from B&H like over at Adorama. Also, I believe I read on here that B&H has not received any Body only - could be wrong though, but mine still shows "on order" status.

Ordered body only from B&H on Sep 15. Shipped later on Oct 30. Due on Nov 4.

So...this is rather annoying, if you bump the movie frame rate up to 60, the movie servo AF gets disabled. That is a pretty significant trade off.

Is this accurate. This place shows 13 7D2 bodies

Well now it show 4 and a different company. Amazon is weird on how the companies that sell a product change right before your eyes.

Is 5D3 a weather sealed body as well? I thought only 1 series have this feature.

I got caught in a down pour (and I mean a down pour) in Houston Texas (Brazo Bend State Park) with the 5D3 and 500 and she's still going strong. It rained so much and hard that I was so soaked, you'd thought I jumped in swimming pool.

It is a bit of a more full grip, which is OK for me. I am really struggling to figure out the ergonomics, to be honest I miss the D pad and touchscreen a bit right now.

But, OMG, the AF. It is really insane.

Thanks for your response. We just got back from a Halloween party, hence my delay in thanking you.

Amazon only has the the 18-135 STM kits available from them directly and I really don't need the 18-135 STM since I have both the 15-85 and the 17-55. I'll wait until they get their next shipment of 7D ii bodies in and order then.

Yeah, the person stated that they talked to someone at B&H; maybe they placed their order late like me or got the run around. I decided not to wait, besides Canon also has the grip in stock and that tilted me to making the purchase.

If Amazon collect taxes for Florida, then just order from Canon. They are in stock, including the grips. They just started collecting taxes for Maryland.

Metho,

They've had them all day from third party suppliers. I feel a bit uncomfortable ordering for them in case I need to make a return.

I don't want to order from Canon directly as I have no interest for a year through Amazon and I only have about 3/4 of the cash saved at this point.

Hmmmm.... Yeah. Why is that? Haven't tried yet.
Also, I know I could do it in post, but I don't think the mark ii has video crop?
I kinda like that sometimes on my 60D

Here is ISO 2500 with a stern look from the boss, straight from DPP to CS6 for jpg conversion and no processing, not even a crop. One huge thing I've noticed about the 7Dii is the 6D like ability to acquire focus in extremely low light.
Also noticed something big in the menus for those in the HDR croud=7 brackets :)

Here a real world shots I took of my grandsons soccer game "without a cover". I took if for granted that I could take shots in the pouring down rain, The 5D MK III performed flawlessly; I have since bought a cover, I got by with it this time, and learn to protect the jewel that I enjoy.
