Hi all
I got my hands on one of these for the first time yesterday and picture quality wise I was quite impressed (only had my hands on it for a few mins in a camera shop )
I have a 7d at the moment and one thing I did find very odd (annoying ) was the lock on the settings dial (sorry don't no proper name for it :-D)
I am used to having the dial on Av then quickly spinning round to C3 to take a bird in flight shot then with out looking clicking back 5 clicks to AV whilst still walking
when in the shop with the new 7d I found the new dial with the lock in the middle very awkward to move / was this because it was new to me do you think and how do you get on with it (or is there a way to turn lock off ) thanks Colin

well i am coming from a t2i and it does not have a lock. I do not have an issue with this as my photography needs are not at that insane level where I am shooting one thing then need to crazily (my new word of the day) shoot something else...

Thanks ! I haven't been completely happy with my new 7dii, 100-400ii combo, but I was happy to get this mom and her babies today.

Okay, I'm posting something besides a sports shot. ;)

Not as good as a lot of you guys' shots. Could have been a little sharper.

Doc, I like your shot. Seems perfect to add a humorous bubble quote :-)

Actually, he is the manager. He is good at squawking at missed calls by the umpires. ;)
