A couple from today...actually also my first outing with the 7dm2. I previously had the 7d original, and was currently shooting with the ancient 1diin (which is still an awesome camera but sometimes you need that higher iso range). Still have to get everything setup and well figure out all the settings but was more than happy with the way it performed during the game. I also forgot how nice it is having a good quality lcd to review in the field.

Pondrader, awesome beaver(s)! Had a run from with them once....they can eat a man alive, ok not literally but well yes they can kill ya!
Anyway we're in Patagonia tooling around, you may recall my goal of Darwin's Rhea. Not as exciting as Great Greys or Snowies but to me just as significant (you have to say that rump is built like a brick house)-

Lol what a great big bird you have there. Imagine finding a bird that big running around the bush in this country lol Although I was up to my butt in snow with three large Moose and a friend. Much Fun

My buddy Kent finds himself behind a tree as the three moved on by Running Moose in the dark 1/100, f5.6, iso5000

7DmarkII , 100-400L markII, and a ton of good fun

I would never have tried this with the 7D but the markII said what ever. I think it came out super good for in the dark

I like seeing the one of your friend in the trees..... I don't envy what you have to go through to get the shots you do but I sure enjoy looking at them.

Kim... its some of the best times you"ll ever have with a camera.

1/125, f5.6, iso3200, 400mm standing waist deep in ice snow with a foot and a half of muddy ice water at the bottom. lol Of course I was wearing my flip flops lol

nothing major... got more but didnt go through them yet.

SOOC too.. im loving not having to edit one pic.. wow so much time to enjoy..

also copied to phone via eye fi mobi then copied up to flickr... seamless.. will have to offload the raws later.
