Is 7D II a weather sealed body?

as I've read in several reports, the 7D2 is the second most weather sealed Canon DSLR in their lineup, right after the 1DX.

I have not used DPP in years. Is it possible to do a bulk export to TIFF and then process in LR5 from there? I'll be struggling with this myself soon.

Yes you can bulk batch to tiff or jpg, you can also apply bulk adjustments to selected images.

It is quite a capable editor, although the new v4 is a bit flaky at the last version.

Having got used to DPP I find light room quite clungy to use, I think it is what you are used to.

Great job Canon with this camera then, it is like a mini-pro body, and for what it is designed it will do the job as good as pro bodies, so hope to see more photos by this camera from you, work hard, .......sorry, i mean photoshoot hard.

It feels like it. You can tell all of the buttons have substantial gaskets under them.

Metho,

They've had them all day from third party suppliers. I feel a bit uncomfortable ordering for them in case I need to make a return.

I don't want to order from Canon directly as I have no interest for a year through Amazon and I only have about 3/4 of the cash saved at this point.

Amazon's customers service is 2nd to none, if you have a return , amazon handles it. As a seller, amazon is very strict with its a to z policies.

TeamSpeed,

I chatted with several Amazon customer service people yesterday. They were great. I've been an Amazon customer from the days when all they sold were books.

Why are you selling your 5D? Will you not miss having a FF to go with your crop?

I have a 5D3 as well, so the 5D3 and 7D2 are going to nicely compliment each other, I think.

Oh yah. I also have the 5D3 and they will go together nicely. I'm looking forward to the button layout, etc particularly the Q button. I programmed the set button on my 7D but I still had to think about it when moving quickly between both.

I got the Canadian deal where they offered the 24-70 f4 for $399. My package is on route and I should get it Monday. The lens is already sold :)
