Caught this off my deck this morning...this Red-Winged Blackbird had just buzzed this Hawk and then parked to keep chattering at it. I don't think the Hawk was fazed much.

This one is cropped and the shadows lifted some.

Couple more...all of the pics from the Midway were taken with the 18-135 STM, I was very happy with how sharp it was and how well the IS performed.

I hear them at night but have not yet seen one to get a shot of it.

Of course, I was out grilling and the hawk was back, it flew about 40 feet over my head beautifully rim lit by the sun. No camera while cooking :-(

From an event at the local cigar shop. Used a speedlight handheld off to camera left in a fstoppers flash disc.

Yeah and good job not blowing away the glow from the cigar and not just making it look like gray ash.
