I've just joined your esteemed ranks! As I was working I couldn't go down to the shore to look for a duck but here is a dunnock. I haven't set up many options yet but did use AIServo just in case it flew off. I think it will take some getting used to though - it feels very different to the 5D3.

I'm still impressed with the high-ISO capability of the 7D2. Here's a shot at ISO 6400:

Top notch.

Did you post process these with much noise reduction?

While taking the shots I over exposed purposely so I could bring it down in post and then used lightroom for the noise reduction and additional sharpening.

Depending on the shot, the noise reduction luminance slider was between 50-70 and then I increased the sharpness too. I'm no expert at lightroom and I really need to watch some tutorials so I can get better with my post work but I think these came out well. I may have been able to come down on the shutter speed and used a lower iso but since it was my first time shooting lacrosse I played it safe with a fast shutter. It also gave me a good test of the high iso capabilities.

Here at two of the above shots at 100%

Why is it that when someone says "I'm no expert", it turns out that YES they are...? Great work.

Stupid question here, how did you overexpose? Just go into the menu and bump it up a bit, and how much if you dont mind me asking?
